An Unexpected Briefing

I used to live and work in New Zealand, so I have flown Air New Zealand a number of times.
Once again, Air NZ (and Sir Peter Jackson, let's be fair) have created one of the two best safety briefing videos ever.
If I wasn't sitting with my seat upright, seatbelt buckled and tray table stowed, I'd be on the edge of my seat for this.

As I have noted before, there are few things I like better than flash mob videos, or Star Wars.

City Rising - by Tom Ryaboi. My love of Toronto, compressed into 4 minutes.

What the Hunger Games Might Have Been

I really enjoyed the Hunger Games - I loved the books (okay, book) but here's Director Kevin Tancharoen's pitch when he was applying to direct, cut from some other work one might recognize. Nice, dark, violent ...
Olympics = Most Over-the-top Inspiring Ads

Every two years, we get a deluge of the most over-the-top inspirational ads. This one isn't a tear-jerker (like the P&G ad) but it's awesome.
Meet the Superhumans from STITCH on Vimeo.
Awesome.
... Also in the category of over-the-top (which describes pretty much anything Muse does ...) :

Pumped for the Olympics?

I don't give that much thought to the Olympics. And Muse is over-the-top. Put them together, and it's a killer pump up video ... fast motion, slow motion, and melodramatic music.
Yes!
If only the Olympics were even partially this awesome.
